The polished saddle leather has a natural feel and rich transparency. Because the hide is drum-dyed, left untreated and only lightly finished, its original character stays intact, and shadowed horizontal lines from the hide’s natural growth may show on the surface. With time and use, the leather builds character and forms a unique patina that adds depth. It is absorbent by nature, so take extra care to protect it from scratches and any contact with liquids. Wipe away dirt and debris gently with a soft, dry cloth, and buff out light scratches with a soft, pale cotton cloth. Should the bag get wet, let it dry naturally in the open air and never force it dry.
